Terms and conditions
This photography website Summerhill Photographers is funded by Summerhill School and is maintained by the SP Admin Team (SPAT). It is open to all Summerhillians, Ex-Summerhillians and those who have lived in the community to upload their photos, but, you must first register.
You will need to register:
- a user name
- your name
- your email
- a password
Once your account is activated by a member of the SPAT, you will have a gallery to upload your photos!
It's important that you don't give out any personal information of the people who are in the photos you upload. We suggest that people's names (or other personal details) who are in the photos not to be mentioned in the title, the caption or as keywords. Some people wouldn't want their photos on a public website.
Enter keywords to your photos, so that people can search and find your photos easily. Don't put any names in though.
Picture files that are still hot from your sexy camera will be bigger than we need on this website, and they will take longer to upload. To save time, use something like Ifranview or Photoshop to save your pictures as .JPG files that are 1024 x 768 pixels wide and tall.
In IfranView go to Image > Resize/Resample, set width to 1024 and save as a new file so you don't lose your original. (Think film negatives)

Use of photos
Individual photographers have the copyright to all the images, titles and captions. Please respect the photographers and their work: you cannot use, alter or crop the images or edit the text without the permission of the photographer first.
The SPAT may be able to contact the photographer on your behalf, if you wish to use their work.
Misuse
The SPAT has the right to delete photos that could harm the others, and if you find any abuse to a person or to this website, please report it to the SPAT. If you're a current-Summerhillian, then bring them up in the meeting!
